Potato crisps
Crunchy to the bite and smothered in salt, are potato chips the most snackable thing around? You tell us – try these easy air fryer chips.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 2
• 2 large Agria potatoes
• 1 sweet potato
• 1 Tbsp sunflower or vegetable oil
• Salt, to taste
METHOD
- Carefully cut the potatoes and sweet potato into very thin slices (using a mandoline if you have one, or a sharp knife).
- Place the slices in a bowl filled with cold water and soak for 20 minutes. Drain and dry the slices thoroughly.
- Place the potato slices in the air fryer basket (it’s fine if they overlap). Toss with the oil and cook for 20 minutes at 180°C, tossing well every 5 to 10 minutes. After 20 minutes, remove any crisps that are cooked and golden and cook any remaining crisps for 5 to 10 more minutes. Season with salt when they’re cooked.
