NZ Mortgages is now Squirrel: Nathan Miglani

After 10 years of helping Kiwis into homes, NZ Mortgages is officially rebranding as Squirrel.

This change marks an exciting step forward, allowing us to offer even better technology, security, and support, without losing the local expertise and personal service our clients value.

Nathan Miglani, Director of Squirrel, formerly NZ Mortgages

The industry has changed in the 10 years we have been operating. Technology and other influences have changed the way Kiwis journey to home ownership. Staying ahead of the rest of the game means embracing technology that makes life easier for our clients. We’re going to have more streamlined document collection, smarter processes, and top-tier security measures, in line with the biggest banks, to keep personal data safe.

By joining forces with Squirrel, we don’t have to worry about the technical side of things. Instead, we can focus entirely on what we do best: delivering tailored mortgage solutions that make a difference.

We are also excited to share that our clients are already utilising the Squirrel lending products. Through our development and construction team, we have been working closely with developers and builders across Canterbury to provide a more diverse array of lending products and get their projects off the ground.

Even though NZ Mortgages will no longer be a name seen around in Canterbury, our commitment remains the same. Our local team is still here, providing expert advice, guidance, and support just as we always have. The only difference is that now we have the backing of Squirrel’s innovative systems and wider resources to enhance our service even further and ensure we can help you achieve your financial and property goals sooner.

We are proud of what we have built as NZ Mortgages, and we’re even more excited about the future as Squirrel. Thank you to our clients for your trust and support. We cannot wait to continue this journey with you.
