In a year of sweeping national reforms – from the Holidays Act to health and safety legislation – we’ve ensured Canterbury’s voice is heard early and often. Our evidence-led advocacy combines robust insights from our Quarterly Canterbury Business Survey and consultation with members, with direct engagement at every level of government.
Over the past year, we’ve hosted member-only briefings with Ministers, facilitated invite-only roundtables, and maintained regular trips to the Beehive – ensuring local businesses are part of the conversations that influence national policy.
