Made fresh with love: Bunco’s Diner

We would all be the richer for having access to a local diner that makes everything from scratch, using fresh ingredients, and combining them with a lot of love.

If that establishment also served great organic coffee in a welcoming atmosphere, then we would be blessed indeed.

We are undeniably lucky that just such a haven exists in Amberley, serving not only the local community, but travellers, tradies, and truckies that travel through the town.

As both a trained chef and the owner of Bunco’s Diner, Derek Morris says, “My favourite thing is cooking things fresh in-house for our wonderful community that has supported us so superbly over the last two rocky years.”

The diner opens at 6am weekdays, 7am on Saturdays and 8am on Sundays so a delicious breakfast anywhere on the scale from very healthy to totally comfort food is always available, and the all-day menu runs until 3pm. Derek is thrilled to be now open Thursday – Sunday until 8pm with a full takeaway menu that includes a little surprise or two.

“I hope to open on other week nights soon, and we would love to see you for dine in or takeaway,” says Derek.
