Reflecting natural beauty, Sophie Divett’s ceremonial collections are inspired by the landscapes and plants of Aotearoa. Think of the rugged terrains of Mount Taranaki or The Remarkables, cleverly encapsulated in the ‘Mountain collection’.
Carved by hand, each ceremonial ring is designed to carry its own unique feel that will continue to evolve and take on character over the years of wearing.
Ready-made or bespoke, clients have praised the designer’s attention to detail. Gallery manager Louise learns about each client’s lifestyle and personality before picking the perfect style of ring and materials. “Our clients come in and have a consultation with a member of the team. We talk through what styles you like, and how we can pick a piece that is going to work with your personal style and how you will be wearing the ring,” Louise says.
Clients have the option to customise designs within the current range, with options including picking the width of the band, metal type, and a perfect gemstone match – all aspects can be personalised and then handcrafted in six to eight weeks.
