Enjoying a magnificent renaissance as of late, dried flowers couldn’t be further from the dusty arrangements you remember from Nan’s house. “They are now beautifully coloured and dried,
and the range is enormous,” says Leanne Lovell, owner of Victoria Florists. “You can have something sculptural using one larger species, go sophisticated and understated, or go all out with a riot of colours, textures, and sizes.”
Victoria Florists is home to a dried flower den. “We have so many choices already arranged in containers, ready wrapped, or order them online,” says Leanne. “You are very welcome to bring in your own container and talk us through where you are going to place it. We work with you on creating the ideal feature arrangement.”
The team are finding that the dried flower revival is appealing to all ages, and their work is also in demand for events, wreaths, and by companies working in home staging.
