Indulge in some me time


Everyone needs time out to relax, de-stress, and let the cares of the day melt away.

Heading out for a professional treatment or spa day will do the trick, although having a long, luxurious soak in the bath at home will work wonders on a dull, grey day

Having a bath has been found to be beneficial in many ways, including relaxing people, helping them sleep better, relieving muscle pain, and to sooth irritated skin. Some research has also shown that taking a regular, warm bath, might also help reduce blood pressure. The operative word is WARM. Too hot and it can damage your health.

TIPS

Add bubbles. Soapy bubbles and why not a glass of bubbles.
Use aromatherapy. A few drops of essential oils in the bathwater, or a diffuser to scent the air.
Turn the lights down low, or (carefully) use candles.
Try a DIY face mask.
Listen to soft music.
