Immigration medical needs: Christchurch Immigration Health

Immigration involves numerous boxes being ticked, including various medical requirements.

C hristchurch Immigration Health is a purpose-developed clinic, specifically designed to meet the needs of its clients and of Immigration New Zealand.

“We are a one-stop shop for all immigration medical needs,” says Dr Lisa Amin.

“Everything needed can be performed on the day in one great facility, with free on-site parking. Lisa and the team all have more than 10 years of experience with immigration medicals, providing a friendly, efficient service at a great value, including for families, groups, and businesses.

“All medicals are submitted online (usually within 24-48hrs) so there’s no waiting and minimal paperwork,” Lisa explains, adding that the clinic is now also approved to carry out Australian medical requirements. Additionally, it also does medicals for numerous overseas countries including the Cook Islands, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Japan, and China.

“Photographs will be taken at the clinic so there’s no need to bring your own,” says Lisa, adding that blood and urine tests, a doctor check and X-rays are all carried out during the one appointment.

“We also do pre-employment and annual health checks for businesses so please come and have a chat with us.”
