Beyond Radiology’s CT calcium score scan is another highly regarded offering. This specialised CT technique utilises high-speed and high-resolution images to detect calcium deposits in plaques that can build up in the heart’s arteries (coronary arteries that supply
the heart). The more calcium detected in coronary arteries, the higher the risk of heart disease. The CT Calcium score scan process takes less than 15 minutes.
