Festive fun in the park
Celebrate the start of the Kiwi festive season at Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park, returning to Christchurch’s North Hagley Park on Saturday 26 November.
The event promises family and friends a fabulous free night of world class entertainment from some of Aotearoa’s top singers, dancers and musicians.
Songbird Kaylee Bell (pictured) will be the headline act.
The nation’s favourite celebration will be topped off by a fabulous fireworks finale, the perfect way to start the festive season at the happiest night of the year.
Bring a gold coin donation to support Youthline in annually developing and supporting more than 35,000 young people across New Zealand. Since 1994, the event has raised millions of dollars for New Zealand charities.
Creative director Dixon Nacey and his team have already auditioned lots of exciting new talent to perform alongside some of New Zealand’s biggest acts.
Dixon says, “This is a unique opportunity for young performers to work with and learn from some of the country’s best, in front of a massive live audience.”
Annette Chillingworth of Coca-Cola NZ says, “After a two-year absence, due to Covid-19, we are thrilled to bring Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park back to the community. It’s exciting to be able to offer so many talented performers the chance to perform in a show that has fast-tracked the careers of many young Kiwi entertainers,” she adds.
The event begins at 7.30pm and ends at 10.05pm, it’s free and all ages are welcome. Highlights will be broadcast in a free-to-air prime time special, airing later in December.
