Experience is everything: Graham Jones Celebrant

One of the most reassuring words in the English language, or in any language for that matter, is the word “experience”- it represents something that has stood the test of time.

When a couple decide to marry, alongside the date and venue, the most important thing to secure is their celebrant. An experienced celebrant does not just perform the marriage ceremony – they elevate it.

Graham Jones has been a celebrant for 23 years, and has performed around 800 wedding ceremonies during that time. “I have been married for 43 years. I believe in marriage, and I believe in love,” Graham says.

Graham believes the wedding ceremony sets the tone for the whole day. “If you put effort into that, everything else falls into place.”
Graham likes his initial consultation with the couple to be in their own home.

“A relaxed environment helps us to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit, which is so important.”
Graham’s popularity as a celebrant has seen him perform intergenerational ceremonies within families.
“Trust is everything. People know me and my work. They know their marriage ceremony is in the surest of hands.”
