Enjoy art: Windsor Gallery
To wander around a gallery full of stunning contemporary art is a favourite pastime for many.
If you are someone who loves modern original art works you will find a wealth of quality work to admire during the Open Weekend – 6-7 May at Windsor Gallery on St Asaph Street.
At least 200 works by 30 artists from all over New Zealand will be on display, as well as some from Dubai and Australia.
Owners Philip and Tracey Wynands have had a great deal of fun choosing the artists for the exhibition featuring sculptures, photographs, landscapes works, floral, and still life pieces along with some works that are so original as to defy definition.
As well as filling every wall space, art works can also be seen in the workshop behind the gallery. Truly a wonderful spectacle for art connoisseurs – and of course all the pieces are for sale.
