Editor’s note: Winning ways
We have much to celebrate in this issue that, if it isn’t blatantly obvious, is serving up comfort. I am thrilled to announce the winner of our two-night stay at Elysian du Regent, the new boutique apartment accommodation on New Regent St. Drawn from a lengthy list of entrants, the lucky winners are Simone and Doug Antoniuk. Congratulations, I couldn’t be more jealous of your upcoming winter escape.
Wait, there’s more. I’m delighted to acknowledge Metropol’s success in winning Magazine of the Year, amongst others, at the recent national community media awards. Up against the best local media across the country, we are so proud to bring this award home to Canterbury.
