The garments mimic the fleeces of the Pihepe (Pitt Island Wild Sheep), which can endure extreme natural conditions. The wool blend of Pihepe, Merino, and Possum – selected to complement each other and create a yarn that is stretchy, warm, and extremely cosy. Undyed, natural, and completely chemical-free, you can be assured you are investing in something that is good for you, and the planet.
Wyld has Softloft – Soft to the feel with exceptional loft. This soft-to-the-touch, airy wool has bulk and bounce.
It holds its own shape easily, allowing the garments to drape naturally.
What started with just hats, the range has now grown to include socks, clothing, blankets and baby products.
Founder and owner Roger Beattie believes the answers are in nature, not in the modern chemical farming practices that have become the norm. His values largely support creating ethical, quality products that people will enjoy for years.
