Celebrating design innovation: Lockwood
Get ready to vote in these popular House of the Year awards.
August will see the finalists in the popular House of the Year awards announced at Lockwood’s builder network conference before being opened for public vote through the company’s website and social media channels.
An annual competition, it recognises outstanding homes built using the Lockwood construction method.
“The House of the Year competition celebrates the best ideas of the owners, the designers who translate those ideas into livable dreams and challenge staff in our Rotorua factory, and finally our wonderful national builder network for delivering the realisation,” says Lockwood’s sales and marketing manager Sarah Smith.
“Open to public vote since 2020, we’ve been delighted with and guided by comments and advice from voters over the years,” Sarah says. “Many of the design innovations of the finalists find their way into new Lockwood design magazines.
“Our builder network always enjoys the friendly competition involved in selecting the finalists, while the owners and builders of homes in the public vote wait nervously as voting unfolds later this year. We’re excited to celebrate another award-winning home with our clients,” Sarah says.
