Beering up for summer: Wigram Brewing Co.

Festival season is upon us, and summer is set to sizzle.

This year it’s all about finding the perfect spot to unwind and relax with chilled beers, cider, and Wigram’s own artisan gin.

Hangar57 Tap Room at Wigram Brewing Co. opened after Covid-19, evolving from post-Covid bubble beersies to a popular little local craft beer tap room that welcomes any and all to unwind and connect over a beer.
Paul is a great host publican, full of beer and brewing knowledge, keen on a yarn, and as a coaster there’s always a connection somewhere. The atmosphere is comfortable and easy with some regular ‘usual suspects’ giving the taproom its laidback share-a-yarn charm.

Friday nights are full on with food truckers The Gee Spot, a regular fixture with their famous fried chicken or pulled pork burger, a regular Friday meat raffle courtesy of Halswell Butchery, and happy hour $10 pints. A new weekend menu is coming soon.

The Hangar has a great outdoor space and can accommodate up to 100 people, making it a great venue for your Christmas event. Head to their website for bookings, or call in, 57 Sonter Rd, Wigram.
