Avocado facial treats
The healthy fatty acids in avocados are often used to soften, hydrate, and nourish the face, as well as diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
The antioxidants found in avocados help to remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and exfoliate the skin.
Avocados offer a tonne of vitamins and beneficial minerals, including vitamins E and C, while avocado oil
is considered a super moisturiser, thanks to the healthy fats it contains.

FACE MASK – penetrates deep into pores to unclog them, without the use of harsh chemicals, and can be used daily. Mash half a ripe avocado with a fork, and then mix in a half teaspoon of avocado oil until smooth. For a gentle exfoliating effect, add 2 tablespoons of ground oats.
Apply liberally to the face and neck, leaving it for 20 minutes before washing. For an extra soothing mask, pop the concoction into the fridge for 10 minutes before applying.
SUGAR SCRUB – The sugar component will slough away dead skin while the avocado oil replaces moisture. Place one cup of sugar (brown or granulated) in a mason jar with one cup of avocado oil. Close the jar tightly, and shake well. Use on wet or dry skin, working the scrub into the skin for 30 seconds to one minute, then rinse. Keep in your shower for easy access.
