Add flower power

Fresh is best when it comes to flowers, and spring is amazing for fresh, fragrant seasonal blooms with which to add beauty to any room.

From daffodils, freesias, gerberas, and tulips, to roses, orchids and hellebores, options are colourful, scented, and seemingly endless.
Here are four suggestions for getting creative with flowers and water.

Casually arrange in your favourite glass vase.
Try one stunning display centre table, or several jars
with similar blooms for outdoor chic.

Float flowers on short stems in a bowl of water.

Display flowers frozen in ice. Use small flowers in ice
cubes, or for more impact try filling a large balloon
with water, and then stretch the top and push in small
flower heads. Once frozen, peel off the balloon and
display in a suitable bowl.

Try submerging flowers in a goldfish bowl
(or similar) of water, using silver wire and stones to
anchor them. Orchids are particularly suitable for this.
