A tempting fête: Hanmer Springs Fête

All roads lead to Hanmer on October 29 for a series of exciting events, starting with the Hanmer Springs Fête.

This fabulous annual fête, held in the grounds of the historic Queen Mary Hospital, boasts 150 stalls of which at least one third are new this year, and two thirds back again. Co-organiser Abby France says as always they will showcase some amazing high quality products and excellent entertainment. “Take along your appetite as well as your Christmas shopping list – there are some incredible food and artisan vendors,” she says.

Fête founders, Abby France and Catherine Batterson, suggest visitors “stay and play for the whole weekend”, and also check out the famous Hurunui Garden Tours on that weekend.
