Te Pae Christchurch General Manager

Our city’s vibrant business event programme generated around $48.3 million in economic impact for this period.

Global conferences like the New Zealand Aerospace Summit, Adaptation Futures, and Water NZ brought international delegates to our doorstep to address pressing issues like climate change. These achievements are a testament to Christchurch’s collaborative spirit, driven by ChristchurchNZ, University of Canterbury, and other influential members of our business community.

With The Art of Banksy exhibition from 17 December to 26 January, and a strong line-up of conferences and trade shows confirmed for 2026 and beyond, our city continues to grow as a premier destination for international events.
