Just 10 minutes out of Hanmer Springs and only 90 minutes from Christchurch, Amuri Estate is the perfect destination to escape, relax and celebrate. The venue seats up to 200 guests and there is a luscious variety of spaces on the property. The ceremony lawn looks across the valley to the mountains – and lawn seating or grandstand-style seating rising up the bank are options.

Amuri Estate works with a selection of amazing catering companies mainly based in Christchurch, who come to the venue and use the on-site kitchen to bring your vision to life, be it buffet, plated, or shared style food.
The modern barn-style building boasts amazing views of farmland and mountains, and the beautiful lodge makes for easy overnight accommodation, although there is an array of options for accommodation in the nearby township that local transportation can take you to and from. The lodge sleeps six within three king rooms with an ensuite, and a kitchen/living area. The Wallace Peak Cottage sleeps two in a king room and has a kitchen, living, and log fire.
Qualified event manager, Vanessa is your wedding coordinator on the day, or throughout the planning process, if you wish. Organising meetings, the run sheet, event plan, rehearsal, she liaises with the MC, photographer, and caterer on the day. Table settings are available to hire, make your own selection or simply leave it all to Vanessa if you prefer.
