Vitamin B12 deficiency has been linked to hearing loss.

Did you know that Vitamin B12 deficiency could accelerate hearing loss and tinnitus?

Vitamin B12 is a powerhouse vitamin that supports our nerves, DNA, red blood cell production, brain function, energy, concentration, memory, and mood.
Several studies from sources including the American Journal of Otolaryngology have revealed that 47% of people suffering from hearing loss and tinnitus were found to be deficient in Vitamin B12.

This is because Vitamin B12 supports myelin – a protective cover for our nerves. Therefore, vitamin deficiency enhances nerve deterioration, leading to tinnitus.

However, it may not be too late to save your ears. Increasing consumption of Vitamin B12 through supplementation or organic, free-range meat, eggs, fish, and dairy products could help reduce these effects.
