A blooming good fête: Geraldine Summer fête


Summer is on its way, and so is Christmas, making it ideal to start gift gathering.

There’s no better way to do this than enjoying a day out with with friends and family than at the Geraldine Summer Fête on Thursday 7 November. Attracting around 4000 visitors from across New Zealand, the fête is now in its 15th year.

Attendees can expect a day of relaxing elegance among the spring blooms and towering trees of historic Stover, just 10 minutes north of Geraldine; a working farm that has been in the Mackenzie family for four generations.

The fête is the perfect opportunity to begin your Christmas shopping. There are some 200 high-quality artisan stalls, including homewares, art, garden, and lifestyle items, children’s, ladies and gents stylish fashion designs. Here you will also find the stunning Talbot Silver Jewellery collection with its elegant bespoke pieces offering a chic timeless look.

Plenty of delicious food to sample, and great entertainment from bands such as The Drama Queens and local singers add to the enjoyment of a day out in the country.

A most enjoyable time to celebrate reconnecting with friends and the community after a gloomy winter. Indulge with a Pimms in the sunshine amid the flowers. Put on your best hat and dress and head to Geraldine for this day of exclusive shopping in a relaxed country atmosphere.
