Keeping it local: Brighton Beach House

Staying “on top” in the hospitality industry has become much harder in recent times. So much depends on offering customers that little bit extra or something innovative to keep them coming back.

Brighton Beach House is one café and restaurant that has worked hard to develop a unique, casual “local” vibe which, coupled with contemporary food and exemplary service, has a great appeal for customers.

The café takes pride in the word “local”. Its mantra, says owner Donna Toon, is “Buy local, hire local and support local”. It holds fundraisers for local schools and organisations, employs local people and buys local products. The café is also a great venue for events–weddings, parties or anniversaries–with its picturesque location and multiple spaces indoors and outdoors. The team has extensive experience in managing and coordinating functions to ensure your day or evening event is a success.

Speaking of the innovative and different to keep customers returning for more, Brighton Beach House instituted its Collective Series of unforgettable degustation adventures. Coming up on 30 November is a seven-course meal in collaboration with Little Biddy gins from the Reefton Distilling Co. Each West Coast rainforest botanical gin flavour will be matched with a complementary course showcasing the talents of the restaurant’s chefs.
