Versatility and expertise combined: DGI Morgan Ltd

Many construction companies may think they offer a one-stop shop for clients’ building needs, but few come close to DGI Morgan Ltd for sheer range of service.

Sister companies Morgan Glass and Glazing, and DGI Morgan Ltd Steel and Fabrication, partner with DGI Morgan Ltd to complete residential and architectural new builds, alterations and renovations, design and planning, project management, commercial construction and maintenance, high-end interior fitouts, custom timber joinery and insurance work. No job is too big or too small for the teams, and they are available for emergency call outs too.

Director David Morgan says, “Despite the huge range of services we are offering, our approach to each one is a traditional can-do attitude, with communication as a priority, and a top-quality finish inside budget and on schedule.”

David loves what he does because he is passionate about the quality of products delivered and the satisfaction of the client. “I take huge pride in every job, whether it’s a large contemporary home or a smaller renovation.”

There is no need to take David’s word for it. The completed portfolio of projects, together with the enthusiastic testimonials of happy customers says it all.

Illustrating its versatility, the company is simultaneously working with a client from design stage, creating a 1000 square metre home in North Canterbury, and building six architecturally designed relocatable pods. Under construction at their base at Rangiora, the pods are 35 square metres, fully insulated with living and sleeping quarters. Clad in cedar and Coloursteel, the team are doing all the structural steel and all of the fitout to a high level of detail.

On completion the pods will be trucked to their site via a challenging forest track and craned into position. “There is a lot of intricate work going into the pods, but I have a background in boatbuilding so it is no issue at all,” says David.
