Washpen Falls

Washpen Falls encompasses the aura of Abel Tasman tracks without the hassle of travel.
Situated on a working farm, this loop walk takes you through high country, before you are engulfed in native bush, trekking across board walks and up steps.
The $10 fee provides a track guide and walking sticks.

The Bridle Path
Access from Summit Road, Christchurch Gondola car park, or Bridle Path Road in Lyttelton.
The Bridle Path takes you back to times before Christchurch was a bustling hive, where early European settlers trekked from Lyttelton to Christchurch.
A gradual climb uphill, this walk boasts incredible views throughout while taking you over the hill to Lyttelton. Challenge your calves to follow the pipeline, a steep but
endorphin-producing alternative route.
