Tapawera, Baton River, Pokoro, Riwaka: The Motueka Valley lies at the foot of Kahurangi National Park. It is remote and picturesque with vistas of the mountains and back country rural farmlands.

Sparkling coastline: Grade 1 to 3, 64km, 4 to 6 hours
Richmond, Moturoa/Rabbit Island, Māpua, Motueka, Riwaka, Kaiteriteri Beach: The coastal section showcases the Waimea Inlet and its wading birds.
Get a taste of… Waimea Inlet and its birdlife, Waimea River, Rabbit Island, Māpua Ferry and across to Māpua Wharf for food, art and craft.
Rural Tasman: Grade 2, 31km, 2 to 3 hours
A rural story featuring farmland, forestry, free-range poultry, and hops, with historic rural towns at either end.
Get a taste of… Wakefield’s history, farmland, Wai-iti river, Spooners Tunnel, native bush, Flat Rock Café at Kōhatu, Hidden Sculpture Garden.
Town and country: Grade 1, 34km, 2 to 3 hours
Easy, relaxed riding from Nelson city around the Waimea Inlet and into country towns with cafes, wineries, and local discoveries very near the trail.
