Peach is offering a fresh new take on the seasonal shades of autumn this year, as we eschew the traditional tarnished tones of autumnal gold that make their way into the home to mark the changing of the season.

We’re certainly not complaining with this dramatic palette heating things up in the homewares sphere, with a colour scheme that’s more sorbet than saccharine.

Named for the pale colour of the flesh of the fruit from which it takes its name, peach works well with aqua, cream or ivory.

A little bit retro and a whole lot of cool all wrapped up in one, it can brighten up the starkest of spaces, managing to straddle the divide between elegance and fun.

We’re all for it, in fact, we’re peachy keen for the hot new colour of autumn.
