Using recycled timbers, The Kiwi Wood Company creates bespoke indoor and outdoor furniture, directly from its Canterbury workshop.

 

 

With a focus on sustainability, designer and builder Kieran Thompson sources wood locally to produce everything from coffee tables, TV cabinets, plant stands and photo frames, to bar leaners, stools and dining tables with bench seats.

Kieran has a range of ready-made products available for purchase and can also help you develop a design from scratch to turn your ideas into reality.

The business began when Kieran built a coffee table from recycled rimu and became interested in the process.

From there, he started selling pieces through his website, and now has a stall every weekend at the Lyttelton Market.
