From putting through the cathedral to swinging a crane, Fillin’ Holes is a mini-golf course that’s themed around Christchurch’s rich history of construction, rebuilding, and the trades.
“Because of our local theme, we stand out as something you wouldn’t find anywhere else in the world, it is so uniquely Christchurch,” says co-owner Lucas Devotion.
Since its establishment in May, Fillin’ Holes has been expanding from a nine-hole course to eighteen. The full course has only been open for one month, and with hole abilities for all ages, Fillin’ Holes is a great activity for the family these school holidays.
“We are big fans of high-vis, orange and road cones,” Lucas says. “We knew that not everything was going to be 100 per cent perfect in the beginning, and a construction theme lends itself to that.”

Their eighteen-hole course offers a set of harder holes as well as an easier set for all abilities, and with discounted games for kids, and annual family passes available, Fillin’ Holes makes the perfect school holiday activity.
Located at 333 Tuam Street, visitors can walk in or book online.
