Perched above the hum of Riverside Market, Riverside Kitchen feels like a hidden world of its own. Light streams through the windows as guests chop, stir, and taste their way through recipes that allow them to discover new cuisines, and share in the joy of good food. The classes are as much about connection as they are about cooking, with laughter and stories shared around the bench.
“Each class is a journey through flavour,” says owner Lauren Bitter. “You’ll explore the ingredients and techniques behind every dish, then sit down together to enjoy a beautiful meal and a glass of wine. It’s social, immersive, and full of warmth.”
Gift vouchers can be used for any of the hundreds of classes planned for 2026. The January to March calendar is already live, featuring summer favourites like Mediterranean Feast and Mexican Fiesta. “These classes only run in summer,” says Lauren.
While Christmas party bookings are filling up, spaces remain for the 3pm to 5pm MasterChef Challenge. Lauren says, “It’s a lively, interactive experience that’s perfect for teams wanting a taste of competition before heading to dinner at one of the exceptional restaurants within Riverside Market.”
