Established in 2019, Epic Landscape Design may be one of the new kids on the block but with over 20 years’ experience, a whole heap of horticultural knowledge and a recent acceptance into the New Zealand Master Landscapers Association, it’s fair to say owner Luke Robertson knows what he’s doing.
The secret to success? “Listening to the client and creating a space that meets their wants, needs and desires,” he says. And what he’s been hearing a lot lately is the desire for outdoor entertainment areas.
Much like the courtyard garden for a client in Merivale featured above and below with two multi-use areas designated
to cooking, dining, and lounging. With no space for table and chairs, the bar leaner creates a practical separation between the two spaces. What a place
to enjoy the city’s everchanging seasons.
