Keep up with the trends

Interior decor has seen arcs and curvy shapes taking centre stage for some time now, in the form of crescent sofas, tulip and egg chairs, and round rugs.

The trend is expanding now to include oblong mirrors, architectural details, and even mushroom-shaped lighting.

Earth tones have become increasingly popular, with plenty of silver accents taking over from the gold and bronze of previous years.

Fast furniture is out, replaced with high-end, environmentally-friendly, future antiques.

Colours to include range from earthy browns to mauve, peach, and corals, complemented by accents of warm, creamy whites, and taupes. Red is also in the mix, hues ranging from rich oxblood to earthy terracotta red, inspired by nature.
