A vision of heaven is a deeply personal thing, but the odds are that every vision of paradise contains a little corner like Sweet Société. Located in The Colombo, Sweet Société is now under new ownership. Locals whisper it’s a delightful dreamland of fresh and wholesome treats.

This magical spot uplifts the senses with the elegant colours and sensational smells of fresh locally baked sourdough donuts creamed every day in flavours of banoffee pie, Snickers bar, and strawberry and cream, with new flavours added regularly. The cabinet holds an extensive range of gluten-free options, including New York Cheesecake, Chocolate Caramel lamington cake, freshly baked slices, plus the full range of macrons supplied by J’aime Les Macarons. While Sweet Société takes pride in its deliciously baked fresh goods, it also stocks an expanded range of Harney & Sons teas and frappes to satisfy your thirst.

Only the Rainbow range of gelato is non-local: imported from Italy, they are gluten-free with a range of flavours. Dairy-free sorbets are also available. The bliss is completed with the match made in heaven – the gelato donut! Owner Janette says they love sharing the joy around The Colombo. “Our shop is about providing unique, fresh and inspiring quality products, whether you’re buying for joy, to cheer a friend, celebrate an occasion or a work shout.”
