Peter Worsp’s staff at Terra Viva don’t hesitate when it comes to a late night in the shop setting up for Christmas. “Each year we hunt out new designs we haven’t stocked before and, apart from a few ‘must-have’ standard lines, we achieve that,” Peter says, on their Christmas display with ‘wow’ factor.
“We order the Christmas decorations early in the year so it’s a pleasant surprise when we unpack it now and see great products to create inspiring displays. The customer reaction is always very rewarding for our creative staff,” he smiles.
“Our criteria is that the decorations we stock are different from those you might see everywhere.
All the decorations say ‘Christmas’ clearly but without slipping into the old-style red velvet and brassy gold – which was never the greatest look. We aim to stock decorations that will blend in with the look you already have.”

“That’s before we even mention Terra Viva Café,” Peter adds. “Our Christmas goodies make entertaining so easy and can be ordered in advance.” He lists the mouth-watering offerings: stuffings, gravies, Cumberland sauce, pâtés, bacon jam, nuts, glazed hams, mint gremolata for roast lamb, oat cakes, and more. “Happy Christmas, everyone.”
