Ballet flats are back

For a few years, platforms have ruled the runways. Recently, the flat and dainty ballerina shoe is having a moment in the spotlight.

Arguably revived by Miu Miu’s fall 2022 show, but always in fashion thanks to Chanel’s famous two-toned flats, the ballet flat is only just reaching its potential in the New Zealand fashion industry. Pair with anything from jeans and a tee to a dress that takes you from day to night.
