Those who have missed the antique shops and art galleries that used to populate Merivale many years ago have been delighted to discover The Vintro Room.

Down the arcade at 186 Papanui Road, opposite Merivale Mall, The Vintro Room has a large and eclectic range of desirable art, antiques and collectables, with prices ranging from $10 to more than $1000, with new stock arriving daily.

Owner, Maddie Hatton, says “A lot of our customers say it’s great to have this sort of shop back in Merivale, and we are very happy to be here.”
