A warm welcome: Sweet Lili’s Café & Bar

From freshly prepared meals and quality cabinet food, to familiar faces and a welcoming atmosphere, what more would you want from your local café?

“I wanted to create a place where I could connect with people through food and coffee, and to be part of New Zealand’s vibrant café culture,” says Mike Li, owner of Sweet Lili’s Café & Bar.

Over the last two years, the team at Sweet Lili’s have provided quality coffee and fresh food to Bishopdale locals, providing a warm, comfortable atmosphere.

Mike personally prepares the café’s meals and is on site seven days a week. From cabinet classics including sausage rolls, cheese scones, and muffins to their all-day menu featuring satisfying fare from mushrooms on toast, burgers and chips, and Thai beef salad. The team is currently preparing a new winter menu featuring warm and comforting seasonal dishes.

Being in the café every day allows Mike to build a strong connection with regular customers. “Many returning customers look forward to seeing a familiar face,” he says.
