A versatile venue with catering: Jubilee Events

A chance encounter led Cassandra and Julia to discover the perfect venue – the Rangiora Function Centre – and Jubilee Events was formed. The talented duo are now busy hosting a range of events, including birthday celebrations, corporate functions, club events and weddings.
The venue offers one of the largest and most versatile spaces in North Canterbury. It can be divided to create two separate spaces for smaller gatherings or used to full capacity for larger events of up to 250. Catering, with an emphasis on old-fashioned favourites, is baked fresh on-site and the team love to create menus that are unique to each event and fit within any budget. They are happy to discuss any catering requests, and also provide out-catering services.
“Our mantra really is – your day, your way,” say Cassandra and Julia. “Pop along to see us at the function centre, when we will be open as a café selling fresh baked treats and good old-fashioned counter food for the Soroptimist Fair on 22 October, and for Rangiora Show Day on 26 October. It’s a great chance to view the venue at the same time.”
