A beauty destination: Canterbury Clinic

Fifty minutes from Christchurch, in the charming town of Oxford, is an appearance clinic that since opening in October 2021 is already known as a destination clinic.

The reason for its increasing popularity is that it focuses on giving clients time, care, kindness and service.

Dr Laurie, a registered GP and Consultant Anaesthetist for more than 30 years, does all the appearance medicine procedures at the clinic. When not working on Tuesdays at the clinic, Dr Laurie volunteers as an anaesthetist at the Canterbury Charity Hospital in Christchurch.

“Our clients love the privacy and they like that Dr Laurie spends quality time with them throughout their treatments. He’s just a lovely, kind man,” Stephanie says.
